The examples of correspondence in this exhibition reveals a first-hand experience of the day-to-day concerns, hopes, dreams and realities of life in Ballarat in the 1850s and 60s. Copies of the original letters have been enlarged and are accompanied by completed transcripts.

This is an exhibition of drawings in the Spirit of Dante Alighieri and Others. In these large drawings Barry Gillard presents an array of figures, texts and situations that take us into a dream, or nightmare state.
