Make a splash at Ballarat's water play spaces

If you're looking for a fun way to cool off the kids this summer, definitely make a beeline for Ballarat's water play spaces.

Entry is free to both the Midlands Aquatic Space and Sebastopol Aquatic Space, which use button-operated systems (operational for 15-minute periods during these hours)

Facilities include a BBQ, shaded area, public toilets and playground.

Midlands Aquatic Play Space
Midlands Reserve, Doveton Street, Ballarat North

November – April 
9am to 9pm daily (closed Christmas Day)

Sebastopol Aquatic Play Space
Victory Park, Vickers Street, Sebastopol

November – April 
9am to 9pm daily (closed Christmas Day)

The Eureka Aquatic Centre (102 Stawell Street South, Ballarat) also has an outdoor water play park.

This summer, the centre is open weekdays 6.30am to 7.30pm plus weekends and public holidays 7.30am to 7.30pm.

Entry is adult $5, concession and child (5-16 years) $4.20, and family $15. Children under five are free.
