This November, Mushroom Pictures, the Melbourne International Film Festival and ALWAYS LIVE will bring the magic of music and film to three major regional centres across Victoria, headlined by the legendary Australian rock band The Angels.
The LongPlay Music Film Festival will see some of the best music documentaries from across the globe showcased at Ballarat’s Regent Cinemas, Geelong’s Pivotonian Cinema and Sun Cinema Bairnsdale.
This four-day festival is a curated selection of world-class music feature films, energising these regional towns through the unique storytelling of music and cinema.

Headlining this exciting line-up of documentaries is The Angels: Kickin’ Down The Door – a new feature documentary about the legendary Australian rock band.
The Angels’ brothers Rick and John Brewster will perform an acoustic set of some of their biggest hits on Monday 21 November at Ballarat’s Regent Cinemas immediately after the film and take questions from fans in the audience.
Also featuring as part of the festival will be the Sinead O’Connor bio Nothing Compares, the restoration of Martin Scorsese’s classic The Last Waltz, and the Foo Fighters documentary We Are The Thousand.
