https://cms.visitballarat.com.au/app/uploads/2024/06/665ec02fff5bb61674314867.jpeg

The Kingdom of Kryal has been overrun by an eternal winter since the evil snow Queen Neva took the throne 25 years ago. Can the heroic knights of Kryal Castle banish the Queen and restore the kingdom to its former glory? Find out by visiting Frozen Kingdom at Kryal Castle this winter!

The icy spectacular is part of the annual Ballarat Winter Festival and offers an epic program of winter wonders and fiery action:

Discover the story of Kryal’s icy past and watch the ‘Long Lost Princess’ at the Jesters’ Theatre; be front-row for the momentous Trial by Fire! Witness their heroic knights battle with fiery swords to vanquish Queen Neva and her evil army; meet and pat Kryal Castle’s incredible fire-breathing dragons; create your own unique snowflake ornament to take home; help Kryal Castle’s alchemist concoct mystical potions; try your hand at archery, axe-throwing or see if you have what it takes to pass knight school.

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities.

These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years.

As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
