Introduce your young off-sider to the basics of woodworking with artisan Tim Schloss in this shared workshop experience designed for two-person teams of youngsters and adults. So one price – two participants!
In this two-day workshop you will learn how to use traditional hand tools to prepare, shape and complete a simple wood object. The skills you will explore include:
– Milling and jointing
– Sawing and planing
– Drilling , gluing, and clamping;
– Shaping, sanding and finishing.
All of this good work will go into creating a unique Adventure Sword essential to the imaginary quest of every young person.
Suitable for young people 10+. All participants under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult.
