Hammon Park is home to the trailhead of the Creswick Trails Project which, when completed, will consist of 60km of mountain bike trails through surrounding bushland.
A completed bike pump track section is great for kids on bikes. Unlike many traditional dirt pump tracks, the Hammon Park Pump Track is covered in bitumen for a smoother and faster riding surface for mountain bikers, skateboarders and scooter riders, and is hailed by riders for its quality.
It boasts accessible toilets including a Changing Place, a barbeque area, electric bike charging station, nature play ground, learn to ride track and ample parking. Walkers can use Hammon Park as a way to access the Wallaby Track. Highlights along the trail include St Georges Lake, Koala Park, Goldfields Track and a sessionable skills area.
It is conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre and is accessible by train or bus.
