Join in at the Golden City Paddle Steamer Museum Society for a free, family-friendly Australia Day celebration around scenic Lake Wendouree! Start the day with the Dawn Service at Lake Wendouree, followed by cultural performances, vintage paddle steamer rides, and historical displays.

Enjoy live music, kids’ art activities, delicious food, and "Come ‘n Try" sessions for canoeing, kayaking, and abseiling. Explore Indigenous traditions with "The Message" and Australian art exhibitions, then relax to the Municipal Brass Band's melodies or a historical walking tour.
