With the guidance of our expert distillers, you’ll handpick your selection of botanicals and distil your very own gin using one of our small 2-litre stills, taking home a 500ml bottle to chare with family and friends.

This hands-on experience takes you deep into the art of gin making to create your own, signature spirit.

It starts with a tour of the distillery, guided by their expert distillers, to learn the gin-making process.

Then it’s onto the sensory delight of gin tasting, discovering flavours and learning about different botanicals and how they harmonise to create a perfectly balanced gin.

Armed with your new knowledge, you’ll handpick botanicals to craft your very own gin in a 2.5-litre still. While the still works its magic, you’ll learn about the history of gin and distilling in Australia.

Once distillation is complete, it’s time to indulge and enjoy. Step into the Distillery Bar to taste a custom G&T, made with your bespoke gin and accompanied by a cheese platter.

As a finale, your personalised, handcrafted gin is bottled and labelled so you can savour it at home and proudly share with friends and family, capping off the perfect gin-immersion experience.

All participants enjoy 10% off any takeaway gin purchases on the day.

Unleash your inner distiller at Kilderkin's Gin School.

The session is limited to 6 people with each person distilling on one of our stills. All participants must be 18 years or older. For safety reasons enclosed shoes must be worn on the day.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
