Jerry Wong performs Bach - Liszt - Debussy - Gershwin.

Steinway Artist Jerry Wong has been described by Pulitzer Prize-winning critic Martin Bernheimer as "eloquent…sensitivity and a finely-honed sense of style" and the Orange County Register praised him for "clean technique, forthright sound and a straight-forward approach to classical textures". He has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia in such prestigious settings as the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, National Concert Hall of Taipei, National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., Opera City Hall in Tokyo, PianoForte in Chicago, Severance Hall in Cleveland, Shriver Hall in Baltimore, and Weill Recital Hall in New York City. His performances, recordings and interviews have been broadcast on the Finnish National Radio, Nippon Television in Japan, Radio Video Mediterranean in Italy, WCLV in Cleveland and David Dubal’s Reflections from the Keyboard on WQXR and The Piano Matters on WWFM.

All proceeds will go to the Don Huntley Scholarship Fund, in recognition of Don Huntley’s passion and advocacy for performing arts at Ballarat Grammar.  Don Huntley was an alumnus, parent, and community-minded individual.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.

©️ 2025 Visit Ballarat. This initiative is funded by the City of Ballarat and Tourism Midwest Victoria.
