Ballarat, Are You Ready for the Ultimate Joe Cocker Experience?

The Joe Cocker Express, hailed as the world's greatest Joe Cocker tribute, is set to bring its electrifying new tour, Mad Dog vs The Englishman, to Ballarat.

This unforgettable show pays homage to one of music’s most soulful legends, delivering all the passion, energy, and hits that made Joe Cocker a household name.

Featuring an eight piece powerhouse band, fronted by Australia's very own Chev Wilson whose timbre and uncanny likeness to young Joe breathes new life into the classics.

Audiences across Australia have raved about The Joe Cocker Express, calling it “a spine-tingling, note-perfect celebration of Joe Cocker’s genius.” Fresh off a triumphant year of touring, including a standout performance on Rock The Boat 2024, the 9 piece powerhouse band is ready to rock Ballarat with a night of powerful vocals, soaring arrangements, and heartfelt soul.

The new Mad Dog vs The Englishman show builds on the foundation of our original hit production, taking it to new heights. With fresh energy, new arrangements, and an exciting two-act format that dives even deeper into Joe Cocker’s incredible legacy—all while keeping the heart and soul that audiences fell in love with.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
