Step into the past as the historic Camp Street precinct comes to life with a stunning display of vintage and classic vehicles. Presented by the Vintage and Classic Car Club Ballarat, this much-loved event showcases an impressive collection of locally owned automobiles spanning the last 120 years.
From Australian icons to chrome-laden American classics and practical European designs, each vehicle tells a story of its time, of craftsmanship, culture and changing lifestyles. Set against Ballarat's heritage streetscape, the atmosphere is as much a part of the experience as the vehicles themselves.
Whether you're a passionate enthusiast or simply curious, enjoy the sounds, sights and nostalgia of eras gone by as you wander through this remarkable celebration of automotive history. A highlight of the festival, it's an opportunity to get up close to old favourites and rediscover the enduring appeal of these timeless machines.
Day 1 features vehicles and machinery from the 1900s to the early 1930s. Set next to a recreation of Factory Day. Presented by Ballarat Engine and Machinery Preservation Society, this display will feature both static and active displays of vintage vehicles and machines used throughout this era.
Day 2 features rare vehicles from the late 1930s to 1980s. Think Australian built classics, large fins and US imports and European designs.
