Can Ballarat rack up back-to-back wins at the Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards?
After winning the inaugural title in 2021, Ballarat has again been named a finalist at this year’s awards.
Delivered by VTIC, the awards recognise towns that deliver amazing visitor experiences and are committed to growing visitation to their destination.
In the Top Tourism Town category (population over 5,000), Ballarat is competing against Bendigo, Echuca, Frankston, Lakes Entrance, Mildura, Shepparton and Werribee.
Vote for Ballarat as your favourite Victorian holiday destination for your chance to win a weekend for two in Melbourne valued at over $1500.
The prize includes two nights’ accommodation at the luxurious Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, two dining vouchers to some of Melbourne’s best restaurants plus tickets to THE LUME.
Voting closes on Tuesday 31 May at 9am.
“Ballarat offers a perfect weekend away for anyone who enjoys fantastic food and wine experiences served with history, a dash of culture, and adventure,” City of Ballarat Mayor Cr Daniel Moloney said.
“There are so many amazing regional destinations across Australia to visit, but Ballarat has something for everyone, with easy proximity to Melbourne.”
